The location was perfect, our room and bed were spacious and comfortable, and the traditional wooden furniture added charm. The bathroom facilities worked well with plenty of hot water. The area was quiet at night, and the wireless internet access was reliable. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the historical ambiance was enchanting. The parking was convenient, and the property itself felt like a museum.

It was a perfect place for our great stay. Booked suite with a seating area and a writing table. The host upon arrival was nice! The venue is in the middle of the town. The hotel was near to the train station, you can walk 20 mins by foot.

The rooms at Casa De S. Tiago were so cozy and comfortable! I loved the seating area where we could relax after a long day of exploring. The wooden floors gave the room a warm and inviting feel that made us feel right at home. Plus, having an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer was a convenient touch!
I personally would have preferred if all the rooms had a shower instead of a bath. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might still enjoy a nice soak in the tub!

The hotel feels like a home far from home. Hotel owner was very friendly, and extremely helpful. We have never felt so welcomed in a hotel before!

The hotel had a great location in the heart of the historical area, making it easy to access all the key sites. The breakfast was tasty, with lots of variety, including fresh fruits and wholemeal bread. We particularly enjoyed the fact that we could park our car in the hotel's garage, which saved us a lot of hassle finding a parking spot in a crowded area.
The bathroom definitely needed an upgrade, as it looked a bit run-down. , the lack of a lift made it a bit of a challenge to carry our luggage up the stairs, especially since we were staying on the second floor.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is unique, full of character and run by Frances a host who is warm, friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. On the morning we had to leave I asked if he could order us a taxi to the bus station but he said that he would drive us there himself. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town of Evora and thus cafe's and sights are all within a short walk. The room was very comfortable, the airconditioning worked and the bathroom had a great shower. If you like your hotels - 'vanilla' as in a chain that is all the same then this hotel is not for you, but if you like something with soul then Casa De S. Tiago is wonderful.

Liked the personal service of the owner of this mansion. In fact, he was the only person running the place. However, the best thing was the location, It was smack in the centre of Evora. Undercover, security parking for an additional cost was good. The suite was spacious and quiet. Bright and sunny rooms. Starting to be a bit run down but made up for it with its ambience of a very old mansion seeped in history.
Bed was too short in spite of one person only being 1.8 metres tall. Stairs steep and would be difficult for a non-agile person to negotiate especially if carrying heavy suitcases. There is no lift and the owner was unable to assist in carrying the suitcases.

We loved staying in this hotel. It had a great location in the historical center of this amazing city, very close to all the historical sights including the roman ruins. The hotel facilities were very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast served every morning, which had a good variety of options.
Nothing, all great.

Excelent ! ! The house is itself a sight, with typical portuguese decoration, and old furniture and stuff. The owner was extremely attentive and gave us all the tips about the city. Strongly recommend this hotel for anyone.

I had the most incredible experience staying at a charming and historic hotel in the heart of a beautiful town. The suite I stayed in was like stepping back in time to medieval Europe, with authentic artwork and even a cannon in the room! The host was incredibly friendly and provided me with valuable information about the 450-year-old building and the surrounding area. The location was perfect, with all the sites I wanted to visit just a short walk away. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.
